On June 2, 2024, the first sports meeting of the Military High School “1300 Cadets” from Belgrade and the High School of Internal Affairs “Jakov Nenadović” from Sremska Kamenica was held at the Athletic Hall in Belgrade and the Sports Center of the Boarding School of the Military High School “1300 Cadets”.
The event was organized with the aim of promoting, establishing cooperation, and developing a sports spirit between these two schools, at the initiative of the president of NS IPA Serbia, Police Colonel and academician Prof. Dr. Nebojša Pantelić, and the commander of the Military High School “1300 Cadets”, Navy Captain Srđan Miljković, with the immense support of the director of the High School of Internal Affairs “Jakov Nenadović”, Vesna Đurović.
The sports meeting between the two schools was opened by the legend of world football and player of FK Crvena zvezda, Dušan Savić. Students from the first year of these schools competed in several sports disciplines. Students bravely and dignifiedly represented their schools in the 60 and 200 meters sprint, 4×200 meters relay, shot put, rope climbing, and futsal. Since this was the first such event, it is of great significance for both schools, so both sides gave their best, presented themselves in the best light, and emerged from the meeting as winners.
Although they are different schools, they are connected by the fact that the choices made by the students of both schools are honorable and responsible, and events like this contribute to the exchange of experiences, strengthening motivation, and pride.
We express our immense satisfaction and extend our congratulations to the host, the Military High School “1300 Cadets”, Navy Captain Srđan Miljković, the school principal, and his associates, with the belief that the cooperation between the two schools will continue and improve. We wish the students of both schools success in their education and the challenges ahead.
