The Tourist Organization of Belgrade, on July 8, 2023 (for the 18th time), organized the traditional city event “Belgrade Carnival of Boats 2023.” This event is a family-oriented celebration that contributes to the promotion and affirmation of the rivers that make Belgrade recognizable worldwide. A total of 97 boats participated in this beautiful event, including the “Horizon” boat with a crew composed of members of NS IPA Serbia.
NS IPA Serbia has held the first place in this event for the past 7 years. However, this time, they did not compete but were honored by the organizers to lead the procession of beautiful boats and open the event.
Alongside the members of NS IPA Serbia, the Cultural and Artistic Society “Abrašević” also participated, showcasing folk dances and songs from all over Serbia. Additionally, the associations “Eurozina Belgrade” and “Jefimija – Velika Hoča” joined in, presenting Serbian history and tradition through costumes and attire worn in the rich medieval Serbia courts.
